Autumn Nail Colours 2026: The Shades Everyone Is Asking For

Every autumn the palette shifts warmer, deeper and moodier. This year the standouts are rich browns, muted greens and a surprising amount of metallic. Here is what is actually walking out of our salon.

Espresso and Chocolate Brown

Brown is the colour of the season and it is not being subtle about it. Deep espresso, warm chocolate and milky mocha are the single most requested family in our salon right now. They flatter every skin tone, they look expensive, and they work just as well for the office as for a night out.

Want something softer? Ask for a sheer mocha wash over a nude base. Want a statement? Go full glossy espresso on an almond shape.

Burgundy and Deep Plum

The classic autumn red never really goes away, but this year it has gone darker and richer. Think wine, oxblood and deep plum rather than bright cherry. On short nails it reads as chic and understated. On longer almond or coffin shapes it is pure drama.

Olive, Moss and Earthy Greens

Muted greens are the quiet hit of the season. Olive, moss and sage sit beautifully against autumn clothing and are far more interesting than yet another nude. They work especially well with a single gold foil accent nail.

Chrome, Bronze and Gold Accents

Metallics are everywhere, but worn differently than before. Instead of ten chrome nails, the look is one accent: a bronze chrome ring finger, a thin gold line down a brown nail, or a few flecks of gold leaf suspended in a caramel gel.

Cat eye gel in burgundy or forest green is also having a serious moment, and it photographs beautifully.

Warm Nudes That Actually Suit Autumn

If you prefer a neutral, swap your summer pink nude for something warmer: caramel, toffee, or a greige with a brown undertone. Same low maintenance look, just seasonally correct.

Not sure which shade suits you? Bring your autumn coat and our artists will match it.
